Turmeric Latte

Make this with your milk of choice for a healing and soothing night cap or for a nourishing drink at any time of the day

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk (plant based for vegan)
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 pinch of saffron
  • 1 teaspoon honey/jaggery
  • 1 pinch cardamom powder (optional)

Directions

Step One

Warm milk in a saucepan with turmeric, saffron and ginger for a few minutes for the flavour to infuse and saffron to expand

Step Two

Pour it into a cup and add the sweetener.

Step Three

To finish, garnish with crushed cardamom and serve hot.
